Yarmouth to Halifax via The Annapolis Valley (Highway 101)
- Yarmouth to Halifax travel time approximately 4 hours.
- Upon leaving Yarmouth follow Highway 101 to Halifax via Digby. This route will take you through our beautiful Annapolis Valley.
- Highway 101 passes through Upper, Middle and Lower Sackville en route to Bedford.
- At exit 4 (on highway 102) you have the option of proceeding through Bedford to Halifax; or taking the Bedford bypass to Dartmouth. Take the Bedford bypass, which is Route 7 to Dartmouth then onto Halifax. This is a shorter and faster route.
- Route 7 becomes Windmill Road, which becomes Victoria Road.
- Follow the signs to the A. Murray Mackay Bridge. There is a toll of $0.75- only quarters are accepted. Change can be provided at the marked booths.
- Take the Robie Street exit. Travel South on Robie to Quinpool.
- Left at Quinpool onto Bell Road, which will turn into South Park Street
after two sets of lights. The CBC Radio building is at the second set of
lights.
- Proceed straight on South Park Street.
- Point Pleasant Lodge is just after Fenwick Street on the left.
